ALA conference attendance funding for excellent proposals submitted by scholars based in Africa. Three $1,000.00 awards.
If an awardee is denied travel documents or sufficient funding to attend the conference in the year in which the award is granted, they may defer the award only once until the following annual conference. If the awardee fails to attend two consecutive annual conferences, the reward is revoked.
