Shola Adenekan, assistant professor at Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis, University of Amsterdam, is the author of African Literature in the Digital Age: Class and Sexual Politics in New Writing from Nigeria and Kenya (2021). He is also a journalist and the publishing editor of Thenewblackmagazine.com

Jeanne-Marie Jackson, associate professor of world Anglophone literatures at Johns Hopkins, is the author of two monographs: The African Novel of Ideas (2021) and South African Literature's Russian Soul (2015), as well as a wide range of scholarly and public-facing essays. She was named an Andrew Carnegie Fellow in 2021.
