Grinnell College and Summit Search Solutions are partnering to conduct a national search for the Inaugural Endowed Chair of African Diaspora Studies. Recently approved by the Board of Trustees, with strong support from students and faculty, the African Diaspora Studies department will offer a rich, interdisciplinary curriculum aligned with Grinnell’s commitment to social justice and human liberation. Coursework will highlight both historical and contemporary Black intellectual and cultural activity from Africa, the Americas, and the Caribbean.
